MOBILE HEADLIGHT RESTORATIONIN RIVERSIDE, CA
Help improve the appearance and exterior clarity of yellowed, cloudy, or oxidized headlight lenses through condition-based sanding, compounding, and polishing.
We evaluate the lens before service because internal damage, cracking, moisture, deep pitting, and previous lens failure can limit the result or make replacement the more responsible recommendation. Mobile service is completed at the client’s location when workspace and weather conditions are suitable.
Separate Porsche project
HEADLIGHT PPF PROTECTION
Protective film fitted to the headlights on a separate Porsche project. Coverage and suitability are assessed separately from headlight restoration. PPF-only work is quoted separately; it is not included in Restoration Only. Restoration + Protection options are listed below.

CAN YOUR HEADLIGHTS BE RESTORED?
EXTERIOR YELLOWING OR OXIDATION
Often a suitable restoration candidate when the deterioration is on the outer lens surface.
CLOUDY OR DULL EXTERIOR LENS
Sanding and polishing may improve exterior clarity after inspection.
INTERNAL MOISTURE, CRAZING, OR CRACKS
Exterior restoration cannot correct damage inside the housing or structural lens failure; replacement may be appropriate.
DEEP PITTING OR ROCK-CHIP DAMAGE
Some damage may remain visible even after responsible restoration.

BEFORE & AFTER.

Cloudy, yellowed, and visibly oxidized exterior lens before service.

Improved exterior clarity after condition-based restoration.
This example shows one completed project. Individual results depend on lens condition and damage location.
WHAT EXTERIOR RESTORATION CAN — AND CANNOT — DO.
CAN HELP
- Reduce visible exterior oxidation and yellowing
- Improve exterior lens clarity and appearance
- Refine sanding marks through compounding and polishing
- Prepare the exterior lens for selected protection
CANNOT REPAIR
- Internal crazing or cloudiness
- Moisture or condensation inside the housing
- Cracks, broken mounts, or electrical problems
- Every deep chip or pit
Lens condition determines whether restoration, limited improvement, or assembly replacement is the responsible recommendation.
EVALUATE, RESTORE, THEN PROTECT IF SELECTED.
LENS ASSESSMENT
Identify exterior oxidation, internal damage, moisture, cracks, pitting, and previous lens condition before beginning.
WET SANDING AND LEVELING
When appropriate, carefully reduce the deteriorated exterior layer through staged wet sanding.
COMPOUNDING AND POLISHING
Refine the prepared surface to improve exterior clarity and appearance.
OPTIONAL PROTECTION
With the Restoration + PPF + Ceramic Coating option, PPF is installed on the restored lens and ceramic coating is applied on top of the PPF. Restoration Only includes neither PPF nor ceramic coating.
Bare restored polycarbonate can oxidize again. Ongoing condition depends on lens material, exposure, care, and whether a protection option was selected.
RESTORATION ONLY OR RESTORATION + PROTECTION?
RESTORATION ONLY
Includes the listed wet sanding, compounding, and polishing intended to improve exterior lens clarity. Does not include the PPF or ceramic coating.
RESTORATION + PPF + CERAMIC COATING
Includes restoration, PPF installed on the restored exterior lens, and ceramic coating applied on top of the PPF.
Protection can help reduce future environmental exposure, but it does not make the lens damage-proof or guarantee that oxidation will never return.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can headlight cleaning fix yellow or cloudy lenses?
+
Washing can remove surface dirt, but yellowing and oxidation of the exterior lens may need headlight restoration: wet sanding, compounding and polishing after assessment. UV exposure, heat, chemicals and age can contribute to the deterioration. Internal cloudiness or damaged lenses require a different evaluation.
Is it better to restore or replace my headlights?
+
Restoration may be appropriate for exterior deterioration. Replacement may be appropriate for cracks, internal crazing, moisture intrusion, structural damage, or condition that cannot be improved responsibly.
